Zebra Pattern

I have a new pattern to share with you today! My little zebra is finally finished and I must say I am really happy with how he turned out.

Pattern: 4-way jointed zebra // Kristi Tullus (spire.ee)

When I first started working on the zebra, I was a bit worried about all the color changes involved - when crocheted in spiral, the stripes do not line up perfectly and there will be a small step where the yarn is changed. Thinking I might have to crochet the whole zebra in rounds, using the seamless join method, I must admit, I wasn't as excited as I could've been - doing it this way just takes up so much time.

But in the end I decided to design the pattern so the color changes are on the side of the body, inner side of the limbs and along the bottom and back of the head, so they are not noticeable at all.
