Small teddy bears

I'm still in love the little bear pattern - it's so quick and easy to make. And if using DK or even fingering weight yarn, the result is so adorably tiny. But this time I went for a chunky wool and acrylic blend, Lanagold Plus from Alize, for a more huggable size.

The original pattern calls for DK weight yarn, 9 mm eyes and small buttons for joints, but this time I used:

• Bulky wool and acrylic blend, 100g = 140m (100g = 153yd) / 12 ply / 7 wpi / 5: bulky.
• 4 mm crochet hook (US size 6/G).
• 20 mm (4/5") joints for legs and 15 mm (2/3") joints for arms.
•
12 mm (1/2") safety eyes.

Both these teddies are still looking for a home, if you are interested, take a look HERE.

But if you'd prefer making them yourself, you can get the pattern HERE.
