Got this pattern quite a while back and could not find it so had to come get it again.
This is a fun pattern and easy to make.
I did something a little different with the shoes. Instead of doing the slip stitches in a different color I kept them the color of the shoes. I made three chain stitches where the bow normally goes. I attached the bows to clip earring backs and they clip on over the chain stitches. I also made little hearts, snowflakes, shamrocks and shimmery flowers in different colors and styles. All the grandchildren and great grandchildren love them.
These shoes also fit a cloth doll that I had made for all the kids. It was a home made pattern from my great grandmother.

hi just having trouble understanding ‘inc’ does it mean 1sc in next then 2sc in next x N of st required.. etc?

Hi Lee,

inc = increase – crochet two single crochet stitches in the same stitch

And when it says inc x 3 for example, you will crochet two sc-s in each of the next three stitches.

All the best,

Kristi
