TUTORIAL: Sewing a Simple Fabric Dress.

I started making a bunny for a dress tutorial, but at some point realized I may not have enough yarn to finish her. After the body, head and limbs were done, I had just enough yarn left over to make teddy ears. So here she is - one sweet teddy girl.

If you want to make your own, use this pattern. Here's the pattern for the ears and muzzle:

Ears:

1: mr, sc 6 = (6)
2: inc x 6 = (12)
3: (inc, sc 5) x 2 = (14)
4: sc in each st = (14)

Muzzle:

1: mr, sc 6 = (6)
2: inc x 6 = (12)
3: (sc, inc) x 6 = (18)
4: sc in each st = (18)

Because sewing clothes to tiny animals is a huge pain, I decided to use super bulky alpaca and wool blend (Katia “Peru”, 100g = 106m) and a 3,50 mm crochet hook (US size E). At about 46cm (18”) tall, she is big enough for cuddling.

And if you want to know how the dress is made, read on.
